Path to competition
My first encounter with firearms was during mandatory military service, firing a rifle, and later used a pistol during Police School. But it was not until August 2018 that I fully embraced competition shooting. What actually ignited my desired in this direction, was actually 9 years before that. In a small shooting competition in Bucharest, at Joita Shooting Range, I realized that with training and determination, I could outshoot the rest. That belief staid with and shaped my path forward. I entered IDPA in 2018, and in 2021 I shot my first IPSC match.
Achievements
Despite the pandemic, I traveled to the 2020 European Championship in Italy and earned my first Master Class in IDPA (SSP Division). I currently hold Master classifications in all IDPA handgun divisions, achieved entirely through match performance. I currently have multiple National and Regional titles in IDPA, in various divisions and various countries in Europe.
Instructor Role
I began teaching Practical Shooting in 2021, starting with friends looking to improve. Today I work with shooters focused on competition performance. Applying the experience gained in the last years and competitive mindset to help them grow.
